happy summer vacation...vol3

hej, hej…immer noch unterwegs, habe ich meine reisekoordinaten etwas nach nord-ost verschoben und bin vom wilden portugal (ihr hattet es sicher längst erraten…) im sonnigen (…ein glück!!) schweden gelandet. hier ist es ruhig, grün und traumhaft entspannt…obwohl ich bemerken muss, dass ich nicht nur zum faulenzen hier bin. nein, mein auftrag lautet: bringe das dunkle, muffige gartenhäuschen soweit, dass es kinder und gäste gleichermaßen erfreut.

nun gut, nichts lieber als das…eine meiner leichteren aufgaben…und da schweden ein absolutes loppi-paradies ist (loppi = die allerschönsten alte dinge, die die schweden unbedingt verkaufen wollen…und ich unbedingt haben muss…) macht das meine mission nur umso leichter.

das ergebnis werde ich euch umgehend posten, sobald ich mich wieder in heimischen gefilden befinde.

bis dahin sende ich euch einige schwedische schweden-happen und  meine favorite loppis of the day… die wollten heute unbedingt zu mir!

so, und nun schnell die laufsachen an und hopp-hopp auf die bahn…la parisienne ist schon in einem monat und ich will ja nicht als letzte im ziel ankommen!

hej, hej…still on the road, I moved my travel-coordinates a bit north-east…from the wild portuguese coast (…you’d already guessed where I was, right!?) to sunny sweden (lucky me!) here it’s quiet, green and lovely calm…but I’m not only here to laze though. no, my mission is: bring the dark, musty garden cottage  into top condition, so that kids and guests will both love it!

well, this seems like an easy job to me, and it’s even more easy, because sweden is a loppi-paradise (loppi= all the wonderful old things swedish people want to sell so bad and which I want to buy so so bad).

 I will post the result right away as soon as I’m back home.

today, I send you some swedish moments and my favorite loppis of the day…they really wanted to come home with me!

but now I’m gonna put on my running gear and then, chop-chop, hit the road…la parisienne will take place in one month and I truly don’t want to be the last to cross the finish line.

zwischen der unerträglichen leichtigkeit des seins und schwertfisch mit kapern und buttersauce, blende ich die tatsache, dass mein jetziger zustand je ein ende haben könnte, einfach aus.

...das hab ich mir ja fein ausgedacht!!

pünktlich zu meinem urlaub...bis zum 21. august lasse ich mich sanft durch die welt treiben...erscheint die neue we love living...ein wunderbares magazin, voll mit den schönheiten des lebens...menschen, wohnen, essen, reisen, etc.

...und ich bin diesmal mit noa's bedside cabinet mittendrin! ist das nicht herrlich!? ich freue mich jedenfalls riesig und auch ihr solltet euch gleich eine ausgabe kaufen (gibt's ab dem 20. juli im handel)...und genießen! 

also ihr lieben, ich werde euch natürlich wie immer schrecklich vermissen...glückliche urlaubsgrüße kommen recht bald aus...nein, ich denke auch diesmal werde ich nicht verraten wo es hingeht...lasst euch doch einfach überraschen - das macht am meisten spass!

exactly on schedule...my vacation comes up and I'm softly cruising around the world till the 21st of august ... the new we love living will be released... a wonderful magazine, full of the beauties of life... people, living, food, travel, etc.

... and, cherrys on top, this time I'm in...with noa's bedside cabinet! isn't that great!? I'm so glad...you should also buy an issue (from the 20st of july available at the paper stores)... and enjoy it!

well guys, like always I will miss you terribly...greetings will come quite soon from... no, I think this time I won't tell you where I'm going...surprise surprise...that's more fun!

fiene is in the house...part 2

na so was...jetzt ist fiene doch tatsächlich bei meiner tochter gelandet. das hatte ich mir eigentlich anders vorgestellt...aber was kann man schon gegen zwei mädels mit einer großen schwäche für pink ausrichten?! da ist selbst die innenarchitektin machtlos...


well, well...now actually fiene ended up in my daughters demesne. somehow I had  imagined it to be quite differently...but what can you do about two girls hooked on pink?!  so in this case, even an interior designer is totally powerless...

hard work...

tja, da kommt keine gute hausfrau dran vorbei...wäschetag muss nun mal sein!

well, none hardworking housewife get around a laundry day...what must be, must be!

fiene is in the house!

heute habe ich einen tollen neuzugang zu vermelden...fiene heißt sie und sie ist wirklich eine schönheit. wo genau ich sie in unserem haus unterbringen werden steht noch nicht ganz fest...ich glaube sie mag türkise wände...oder doch lieber pink? nun gut...bis ich einen adäquaten platz für die dame gefunden habe, könnt ihr euch ja ein wenig in ihrem alten zuhause umschauen...eine wahre fundgrube mit unendlich vielen wundervollen schätzen...fiene ist natürlich auch dabei...ihr habt sie sicherlich gleich erkannt, nicht wahr!? ihr neues plätzchen bei uns zu hause (ob türkis oder pink...oder doch lieber grau?!) werde ich natürlich umgehend posten, sobald ich das richtige gefunden habe!

today I have to announce an awesome new arrival... she's called fiene and she is a marvel of beauty. I'm not quite sure, where in our house I will place her ... I think she likes turquoise walls... or rather pink? well...till I have found an appropriate place for the lady, you can browse her old home... a rich source of wonderful treasures... of course fiene is right in the middle of it... you've recognized her immediately, right!?
I will post her new home (turquoise or pink... or rather grey?!) as soon as I'm certain that I've found the right one!
