geburtstage über geburtstage...und über allem die frage: "was soll ich schenken?"
als ich dieses schöne bäumchen in einem holländischen bastelladen entdeckte (...gibt's ähnlich sicher auch bei uns und auch sonst so auf der welt) habe ich gleich an den wunsch einer freundin gedacht, die sich einen schmuckständer sehr gut in ihrem schlafzimmer vorstellen kann...da kam mir das holzbäumchen doch wie gerufen! einen passenden unterteller dazu (alter holzteller oder einen schönen blumentopfuntersetzer),
alles in der gewünschten farbe anmalen (meine wahl...alpina limette glanzlack), ein rundes filzstück ausschneiden für die tellermitte...und schon kann der schmucke schmuckbaum mit schmuck geschmückt werden...ha, was für ein satz!

when I discovered this nice small tree in a dutch art supply store (...certainly you can also find something like this over here or anywhere else in the world) I immediately thought about a friend's wish...she was looking for a nice jewelry stand for her bedroom... so, the small wooden tree just came at the right time! add a matching bottom plate (an old wooden plate or a nice flower pot coaster),
paint all in your favorite color (my choice... alpina limette brilliant varnish), cut out a round felt piece for the center plate... and the spick-and-span jewel tree is ready for decoration!
